45 Lessons Learned in 45 Years
With age, comes wisdom. I've heard that saying my whole life, but it didn't really mean anything to me until after I turned 40. It feels like I'm getting wiser the older I get, and I fully appreciate this. I can't believe that I just turned 45. I still feel like a teenager most of the time. I still get excited about something stupid and trivial almost every single day. To help celebrate another trip around the sun, I'm sharing some of my favorite lessons with you.

I know that some of these are silly, and others are serious, but isn't that the whole point of life? To remember to have fun and be silly instead of being serious all the time?
I hope that some of these made you laugh and that others made you reflect. Thank you so much for being here with me on this journey. ❤
45 is a pretty good list of things. I'd have to work way too hard to come up with 63, which is my age. I used to like making lists of things like that, but then, I also used to write/blog every day, and it's been a long time...

DeleteMissy, everything you said is so true to life. In 20 days I'll be 71 and I am still discovering and learning. Thank you for your wise words.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteAbsolutely perfectly said!!! I just turned 40 earlier this month and have been learning this. You always have to have a little silly in your life. You don't always grow old when you age, you grow old when you can no longer be silly and have fun.

DeleteI agree with everything. It may be silly, but what you feel is real. And real is a wonderful thing.
