My obsession with makeup started when I was 12 years old. One of my gifts for Christmas that year was a small makeup set from Cover Girl. I'll never forget using it that very afternoon and my family telling me to calm down and use a lighter hand, implying that I had used way too much.

While I might have gotten better at applying it since then, I still get as giddy over new makeup as I did that day.

I wanted to share some of my favorite products, and it seemed easier to do so here. I'm going to link my favorites down below (Most of the links are for Amazon, only because you can find basically everything there). I buy most of my beauty products from Sephora or Ulta. Foundation and concealer:

In the summertime, I like the "less is more" approach and stick to lighter formulas, like the Nude Glow by It Cosmetics. The wintertime calls for products that are a little bit heavier, like the Nars foundation and concealer linked below.

On a regular day, I'm usually not wearing lipstick. I tend to save that for a special occasion or if I'm going out, but you can never go wrong with a great lip gloss or lip balm.

Blushes and Bronzers

They may seem a little extra, but I think blush and bronzer really pull a face together. I haven't gotten into contouring, but blush and bronzer are part of my normal makeup routine.
